Tax Attorneys & CPA's

WHY USE A TAX LEGAL FIRM WITH OVER 18 YEARS IN EXPAT TAX EXPERIENCE AND WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

DISCLOSURE & COMPLIANCE

If you need to file disclosures or have compliance issues then your conversation with a CPA or other professional is not protected in Federal court.

PRIVATE CONSULTATION WITH OUR U.S. LICENSED ATTORNEY

We offer a complimentary confidential service with our staff U.S. licensed Tax Attorney. The tax legal advice we provide to our customers is because we believe that the tax law and regulations go hand in hand.

LOCAL OR REGIONAL LAW and CPA FIRM VERSUS CROSS-BORDER LAW / CPA EXPERIENCE

Most local and regional law and accounting companies are focused on individual and corporate clients based in their geographic areas. And in general most of the tax work covers individual and business issues. We provide all of these same services. However the tax regulations and laws become very detailed and complex once the tax filer has income and /or financial assets offshore. Most local attorneys and CPA’s do not have the years of experience needed to understand the complexities and give guidance to their clients. They are not versed in tax law, nor can a CPA provide Client-Attorney privileges.

The IRS is going after all delinquent tax payers and they are focusing now, more than ever, on people living overseas or have immigrated to the U.S. because these US tax payers tend to have non-disclosed foreign income and offshore financial assets – that’s the big red flag!

WHY USE A FIRM WITH A U.S. LICENSED TAX ATTORNEY WHO IS ALSO A CPA?

If a tax filer wants to come clean or simply did not know about reporting certain items – now is not the time to experiment. There are penalties, past-due interest charges and fines that the IRS is enforcing. There is potential criminal liability. This is not hype – its reality. There are no extensions for past-due FBARs. A U.S. LICENSED TAX ATTORNEY, who is also a CPA and has the experience and expertise, is the right firm that you want representing you.
